The basic purpose of the human resource management plan is to achieve the success of the project by ensuring that are getting adequate human resources with the necessary skills, and if resources are trained not identify any gaps in skills, and team building strategies and clearly defined, and team activities effectively managed.

Roles and Responsibilities of Project Team Members

Roles and responsibilities of team members and stakeholders must be clearly defined in any project. Depending on basic organizational structure, all project team members can represent many groups or different departments and act in the interest of different functional managers. In addition, team members may have varying degrees of authority and responsibility. When listing the roles and responsibilities should include the following:

  • The role of – part of the project description, which is a member accountable
  • Power – the level at which the member may make decisions and the application of project resources to make approvals
  • Responsibility – must work a performance of team members to complete the work assigned to activities
  • Efficiency – skill (s) required to complete the assigned project activities

Roles And Responsibilities Of Project Managers

Roles and responsibilities of a project to upgrade programs are essential to the success of the project. Must all team members clearly understand the roles and responsibilities of their own in order to fulfill its share of the project successfully. : A project to upgrade the following software project team roles and responsibilities have been established

Project Manager (PM), (1 position): responsible for the overall success of a software development project. Project Manager must authorize and approve all project expenditures. The Project Manager is also responsible for approving the work activities that meet the acceptance criteria established within the acceptable differences. PM will be responsible for reporting on the status of the project in accordance with the Communications Management Plan. PM will evaluate the performance of all members of the project team and to communicate the performance of their functional managers. And PM is also responsible for getting the human resources of the project through coordination with functional managers. Project Manager must possess the following skills: leadership, management, scheduling, budgeting, and effective communication.

Design Engineer (DE), (2 positions): responsible for collecting the coding requirements for a software development project. And DES are responsible for all the upgrade design, coding, and testing software upgrade. DES will help lead in the distribution and implementation of the monitoring software upgrades across the network infrastructure. DES will be responsible for the situation in a timely submission of reports to the Project Manager as required by the Communications Management Plan. And DES may not authorize any project expenditures and does not allocate any resources without the consent of the PM. The performance will be managed by the DE PM and communicated to the design management technology group (functional manager for DE). DES must be proficient in programming HTML, C + +, and Java programming languages.

Implementation manager (IM,) (1 position): The IM is responsible for the distribution, implementation and monitoring of the development of new software. And IM is responsible for working with DES to ensure that all coding in a new program complies with security regulations. And IM is responsible for the break windows in coordination with each department to facilitate the implementation of the start-up software upgrades with minimal to / from any disruption of operations. IM will report the case to the PM according to the communications management plan for the project. And IM performance will be evaluated by the Project Manager and sent to the functional manager of the IM (network administrator). Must be proficient in managing IM network architecture.

Lead Training (TL), (1 position): The TL is responsible for training of all network users on the features provided by upgrades of existing programs. TL will coordinate training dates / locations with advocate training each department. TL will provide training case for PM according to project communication management plan.

Functional Managers (FM), (2 positions): While not part of the project team, functional managers responsible for providing resources for the project according to the project staffing plan. Functional managers are mostly responsible for working with the Project Manager to identify the skills required to approve the resource assignments. Project  managers are also responsible for the assessment of the performance of the resources allocated depends, in part, on the PM suggestion regarding the performance of the project.

Project organizational charts

In this section provides human resource plan for the graphic display of project tasks and team members. The purpose of this is to clarify the responsibilities of team members as they relate to project tasks. The Acquisition of Employees:

Software Upgrade Project: Project staff will consist entirely of internal resources. There will be no outsourcing / contracting that are within the scope of this project. The project manager to negotiate with functional managers and department to identify and assign resources according to the organizational structure of the project. All must be approved by the appropriate resources and functional manager / section before you start any business resource project. The project team will be’re located for this project and will keep all the resources in the current workspace.

Resource calendars:

The software upgrade project will last for five weeks. All resources are required to project before you begin. The chart below shows the resources required to perform the design engineers 40 hours a week for each engineer in the first three weeks of this project. Then return requirements is scaled to 5 hours for each engineer in the fourth week. After the fourth week will be the release of the engineers of the project design. It also will be the release of the implementation of the project manager after Week 4. Lead will be required training to perform 15 hours of work in the first week and a full 40 hours of training during the week 5.

Training:

There are currently no scheduled training with respect to a project to upgrade programs because the organization has an adequate number of staff with the required skill sets. However, if you are identifying training needs, and will provide funding of the project reserve.

Performance reviews:

The project manager will review work activities assigned to each member of the team at the beginning of the project and communicate all expectations of work to be performed. And director of the project, and then evaluate each member of the team in all phases of the project to evaluate their performance and how effective they are completing the work assigned to it. Before the release of project resources, the project manager will meet with the Director of suitable functional and provide feedback on the performance of the project staff. The functional managers then conduct a formal review of the performance of each team member.

Although scope of the project does not allow for plenty of time to provide comprehensive training or potential for cash rewards and there is recognition and reward several items planned for members of the project team.

  • Upon successful completion of a software development project, and will be holding a party to celebrate the success of each team member with the families of the members of the current team and leaders.
  • Upon completion of the project, any member of the team who have satisfactorily completed all the work assigned packages on time obtain a certificate of thanks from the Chief Executive Officer.
  • Will the team members who have successfully completed all the tasks assigned to it have taken for inclusion in the company newsletter photographs.
